Digital Printing
Digital printing is a toner-based process similar to laser printing. It is ideal for small quantities or where a fast turnaround is required. Our professional-quality digital printers produce single or full colour prints directly from a computer file. It is not a photocopy process – every print is an original, giving you very consistent results.
With no costly set-up required digital printing is just as practical for one print or hundreds. This also means that digital printing can have a much faster turnaround than litho printing once the artwork is finalised.
Although it shares many similarities with laser printing our digital machines produce a higher quality output and are regularly calibrated to ensure that they are as colour accurate as possible. Digital prints are safe to use in an inkjet printer, however they should not be used in a laser printer – so we don’t recommend this process for letterheads or printable forms.
Because we print directly from a computer we are able to accept a wide range of commonly used file formats. If you are providing your own artwork, please ensure that you provide a hard copy for us to check against the final output.
We recommend digital printing for:

- Leaflets and flyers
- Newsletters
- Invitations
- Posters up to A3 size
- Greeting cards
- Wedding and Funeral Order of Service Sheets
